Available for Free: Child-Proof Fireguard (free-standing or fixed)

Our kids have finally learnt that putting fake coal in their mouths is no substitute for a good meal. Which means that, thankfully, we no longer need our child-proof fireguard. It's a big old-fashioned cage-type thing that goes right round the hearth. Not pretty but effective. It can be fixed to the wall although we just used it free-standing. If you want to fix it to the wall, you just need to put a couple of low-level rings/hoops in the wall - the fireguard still has the fixings to attach to them.
