August childcare for 2yo - any tips

Hello,

Our son's (aged 2) childminder is closed for all of August. Ideally we'd like to have a formal arrangement to cover this period, rather than relying on leave/ grandparents which can't cover the whole period.

Does anyone have any experience of childminders/ nurseries who might take on a child over the summer? Any suggestions or tips for where to look would be gratefully received!

My daughter used to go to the Hideaway - the children’s centre attached to Stroud Green school - for holiday play schemes. I’m not sure if it will be open this year but it was always really excellent care.
