Attempted Car Jacking - Ritches Road - Off St Anns Road 1st February 2011

Hello,
I heard from a reliable neighbour that his colleague was involved in an attempted car jacking on Tuesday eve 1st February at 7.30pm: he had a lucky escape. Apparently one man stepped off the pavement to stop the car, then a group of men appeared and tried all the doors including the boot! He had the foresight to lock all the doors as he thought the first man was acting suspiciously. Don't know if there is a connection!
