We're lucky to have some great folk in our local churches, and Father Eric is no acception. If your inclined, this service will prove meaningful. Radio 4 this morning, was the first reminder the day.

I learnt that the message of the day wasn't just about choosing to give something up for Lent, but you could equally decide to 'do something,' in the lead up to Easter.

Don't worry I'm not about to go all Tim Farron, more Bobby McFerrin, but we may admit some politicians could do with revisiting the reasons they became interested in politics, by being selfless in their ambitions, wherever that realisation comes.
