Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Arena tonight
Just been out to Sainsbury's and the Arena estate. Homebase were already closed at 2.30 p.m, with staff gathered in the front entrance clearly on guard. Sports Direct and Argos likewise. Other shops open, including Carphone Warehouse with shiny new glass. Costa and Next in the process of shutting. Sainsbury's staff said as far as they knew they were open until 10 p.m, but while I was there I overheard the security staff saying the might close early.
Quite an edgy feel to the place, but as far as I could gauge this was all just precautionary rather than on police advice.
Then I ran into a neighbour who's girlfriend had just been evacuated from the building she works in in Camden and was on her way home. No further details.

I had a Sainsbury's delivery earlier today; the driver told me the previous evening's deliveries had been cancelled and that there were a few problems getting some supplies from the main distribution point in Waltham Abbey.

I should coco, the little oiks had set fire to it! As far as I know, there is no longer a main distribution point there anymore... I do wish that this pathetic, pointless violence would stop.
