Are you interested in furniture restoration?

An old Victorian flip-top pedestal table got seriously damaged this weekend at my son's party!. Two of the three legs have snapped off, and it would probably cost a lot to have it professionally repaired.

But I wondered if anyone interested in furniture restoration would be interested in having it for nothing - I don't particularly love it, but it seems a shame to just take it to the dump. It's about three foot diameter and made of oak - even if you don't repair the legs you could use the top for another table.

Hi Helen, Sorry but somebody else from this site has already messaged me about it a few days ago, and then my sister asked me to at least get an estimate to repair it before giving it away. So things are on hold at the moment, but thanks for your interest.
