Apple Day at Hornsey Vale Community Centre - 14th October

Putting a quick plug in for this event which has always been a good afternoon's fun with apple-related activities. 

In the past they have invited the famous Brogdale Trust which is based down in Kent and holds the national fruit collection of seeds and trees. They bring a huge selection of apples including many weird and wonderful heritage varieties which will make you really rue the basic red or green apple choice on offer most of the time in supermarkets. 

Runs from 3-6pm on the 14th October. free for children under 5 and £1 for everyone else.
