Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Appeal for witnesses: Tottenham murder
I happened upon this sad scene earlier in the week in the Lordship Recreation Park. It happened near the dirt bike track close to the Broadwater Farm projects. The police are looking for witnesses. I've attached a picture of the flyer. It happened in broad daylight.

what has happened to Tottenham and Wood Green i was born and grew up in both areas and just have good memories, and felt so safe walking around the area with my mates.I emigrated to Australia when i was 18 years old in 1968, every thing changes but it seems these areas have really got bad with guns and knifes i hope for every bodys sake this sort of thing can be stopped for the sake of everybody living in these areas.

My brother emigrated in 1962 at the age of 20 (he celebrated his 21st onboard ship halfway through his voyage !). He has such fond memories of the "old place" but becomes more and more disillusioned at the place going down hill with each trip home, 5 or 6 in total now. He lives quite happily in Adelaide and apart from breaking family ties says it is the best thing he ever did. I find that so very sad. Mind you, having said that, i "emigrated" to Norfolk in 72. Both Harringay born and bred. But it is good to see some areas being tidied up again.
