Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Have you got a secret stash of paintings, photos, sculptures or other art work? Or do you love making music? If so, AP&Beyond could be for you.

Sonya Sabbagh, a local artist who started the art and music trail around the Alexandra Palace area last year, is looking for creative people to take part. Stretching across N22 and including parts of N10 and N11, the event will run on June the 23rdand 24th. It is an opportunity for arty types to open their home or garden to the public, hold an exhibition or concert in a local cafe or shop or simply wander and explore the work of others.

Last year’s event was judged a success, with more than 25 artists and musicians opening their doors to visitors, selling their work and meeting neighbours.

Along with exhibitions there will be a host of children’s activities, including an Alice in Wonderland-themed treasure hunt and a chance to try African drumming and other creative activities in parks and community spaces.

Sabbagh is running the event in association with her family’s not-for-profit organisation Everyone’s Climbing Tree, which offers creative workshops in schools and the community.

The deadline for artists to register is March the 18th and the cost is £15.Online or call Sonya Sabbagh on 07793 768 004.
