Anyone want a spare mattress?
Available for collection: 1 double Warren Evans mattress. Nice stripe pattern, bought 2 years ago, used but not dirty, some normal signs of wear on one side.
We've been storing this for a while, but I just thought I"d see if anyone was interested in having it as a spare before disposing of it - seems a shame to chuck it, as we only changed it as I wanted a memory foam one for my dodgy back. It's otherwise fine, probably for a guest bed.
I work from home several days a week so if anyone wants it can be here weekdays or weekends. Thanks.

There are a few houses on the Ladder occupied by mattress collectors with some great front garden mattress sculptures. Shall I ask if they want yours?

I moved one on that was (much) more than two years old, via Freecycle a couple of weeks ago. Had two asks. So if this doesn't work, go to Haringey FC. 22147 members, eat your heart out Flouch.

Hi Abster,
I recently moved and therefore have / had a number of mattresses and other furniture that were left that we didn't need but were in good condition.
Through a post on here, I found out about a charity called Kith and Kids (http://www.kithandkids.org.uk/) who have shops to sell items including mattresses and also hand them out to those that need them.
They are collecting a load of stuff from me tomorrow so are in the area so if you can't give it away I'm sure they could make use of them.
