Depends what kind of cake. Cake Box on Turnpike Lane near the Post office does nice cakes. also Dunns in Crouch End.

If you want a colourful party cake- Rich cakes in crouch end posts a lot on twitter/fb.

Hassan Ali's do great cakes, infact there are a couple of places on green lanes made to order

Prestige Patisserie are Geanine and George Ursache - a Tottenham couple who have taken a small unit in Holcombe Market N17. Geanine worked with Flourish Bakery before that very successful business moved away from Haringey.
Maybe talk to them about what you need and if Geanine can bake your order.
