Maybe it's this missing cat called Tigger (he's microchipped).

somewhat, but Tigger is a neutered male, is it definitely female?

That cat is still there. Beautiful cat. Very friendly. The local wino's say it's been there for a week! Not a big cat but does look like the photo!

He/she is hanging around at the entrance by the bike lock-up.

Tigger is biggish though elegantly proportioned, I might come and look, is it the entrance to the Park itself?

Yes. come out of the station & turn left. You'll see the bike store & the entrance to the park. He was just inside. He seemed to be hunting, too. Let me know how you get on.

Ta!

otherwise first stick a cheap collar on cat with paper wrapped round with your details to call you- just in case he does actually have a home but gets shut out a lot- otherwise vet visit to see if he is microchipped-
cats are notorious for wandering especially if not neutured, and sometimes pretend to be abandoned
i had that scenario from a neighbours cat bottom of my road few years ago- always ravenous, quite skinny, determined to come in my flat, so I thought he had been abandoned
- anyway located owner, they got him neutered, and a cat flap- solved his wandering

Yes it would be great if everyone would get their cat neutered and get a catflap. I feel so sorry for cats stuck outside for hours just because they don't have a catflap to access their home.

Yes Tigger is chipped, neutered and we have a flap, so I always feel like I'm clutching at straws a bit still looking for him the poor little gent!

Yes you were very sensible to get him microchipped - hopefully that will mean that he will be found and returned to you.

I have lost my ginger cat too. the pics look very like my cat. i would love to see if it is. My cat is called Alex, he's chipped but missing for a few weeks.

If there's any chance i could look tonight post work / tomorrow morning it would be amazing.

Alex, is super friendly, very talkative.
