Can anyone recommend a company to do a loft conversion from planning to completion?

Yes! London Lofts and Conversions LLAC were amazing! They started ahead of time and finished exactly as agreed. They work efficiently, fit around your needs, are polite, sensitive to neighbours, solve issues swiftly. They were reasonably priced with no hidden extras and no pressure to add in anything we didn't want.
They stuck around and revisited to see how we were settling in to the new space and I can't recommend them more highly

A bit of a late reply but I wanted to share our experience with Rooftop Rooms. Not a positive recommendation I'm afraid! The whole process for a simple dormer extension, from arrival of scaffolders (one month late) to completion, took a year. The two guys in charge seem good but the company seems to have bitten off far more than it can chew - weeks went by when our scheduled workers did not turn up at all. The 'manager' in the office was impossible to get hold of unless we were due a payment, and most things were done with no consultation at all (when in fact we had been sold on the fact that they promised a project manager who would consult us on all decisions). The quality of the work was variable - carpenters seemed ok but the electrics have given us lots of trouble and we've had to pay for an electrician to sort several things out (it is under warranty from Rooftop Rooms but we couldn't face it).
I've heard good things about Dan James and Another Level. Good luck with the work!
