Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

any advice on how to find garages for sale?

looking to buy a garage in the Harringay area but none of the agents on Green Lanes can help - renting is a little easier via Gumtree etc. but really want to buy something - any suggestions welcome!!

Hi Russell, hope this isn't too grandmother's eggs, but have you tried popping your head round the door off local estate agents? If anyone, they should know. Or, what about local pub landlords?

Yes did that Hugh thanks - agents round here mostly deal in flats and houses - commercial garages would be at their offices for businesses but that would not be for a private garage for a single car. I've only seen garages in places like Croydon or Enfield for sale...not sure about pubs but will ask....

I was thinking about tapping agents' local knowledge rather than them doing the selling/acting as official agents, but as you say you bin there dun that.

Here's a property search on garages in North London findaproperty.com - offers one result - a parking bay in N16 for £15k.

Here are a bundle of local rentals at parklet.co.uk

And I found one garage for sale in Muswell Hill on Loot.

Hope that gives you some ideas.
