Anti-militarist magazine holds birthday party in Harringay

International anti-militarist magazine Peace News held its 75th birthday party in the old church on Mattison Road last weekend.

Thrown for past and present staff, readers and friends, the party entertained guest with acts including:

• Leon Rosselson
• the Carbon Town Cryer
• the Red and Green Choir
• poets Jeff Cloves, Dennis Gould and Stephen Hancock
