Another Fire
There was a fire at the bottom of Lausanne Road this morning about 6 am. A load of dumped furniture etc caught (was set on ? ) fire and it spread to a parked vehicle which is badly damaged.
A demonstration that dumped rubbish is not only unsightly and unhygenic, but can be a danger to people and property.

They were putting that stuff out there on Sunday afternoon so not much chance for it to be cleared up then.
Funny, I cycled down as far as the passage at 7:15 and didn't notice anything odd but I did have a large truck wake me up as it sped the wrong way down the street sometime before 6am.

And sometimes not a one-off accident with a cigarette but an opportunity for arson.
Can I suggest raising this with your Safer Neighbourhood Team who will no doubt, be in touch with the Fire Service who'll be monitoring such incidents.
