... And What About the Noam Chomsky revealed in the Epstein Papers?

People who have not heard of Professor Noam Chomsky may want to begin with Wikipedia.

I was surprised and pleased that as of 8 February 2026 Wikipedia editors had added an update referring to Chomsky's wife Valeria's apology in a statement that his relationship with Epstein was a "grave mistake".

Yes, I saw the picture of the great Chomsky in the sky with Epstein (not a metaphor...yet) a few weeks ago. You may remember me previously writing about 'left devouring left', that is what I am presently watching with a full bag of popcorn as Starmer is pulling his cabinet 'sandbags' around him to keep away the peripheral Labour hordes.

No, Martin Woodside, I don't remember your writing about the "Left devouring Left".

I have a longstanding detestation of Great Leaders. Especially someone like Chomsky who was inspired as a young man by Anarchist thinkers. And even original and brilliant scientists, philosophers and others who get old and have brains or bodies which are damaged or no longer work as well.

To turn a severe stroke or gradual senility into an enjoyable spectacle to be watched with glee "with a full bag of popcorn" as you suggest Martin, is unnecessarily nasty. Please don't demean yourself, as you also grow older.

I suggested that HoL members might prefer to read Wikipedia for an initial overview. It relates the scientific and other body of work of creativity snd discovery which Noam Chomsky has offered the world, until recently.

Chomsky is now no longer able to communicate in person. His books, articles and videoed talks still can.
