Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

So say police.

Quoting from this article in the International Herald Tribune;

The police say they fear that the gathering April 2 in London, set against anger at the economic downturn, could provoke more violence. Police are preparing to deal with violent protests as anarchists threaten to bring chaos to the Group of 20 summit meeting in London.

Environmentalists, antiwar campaigners and protesters have already indicated that they would demonstrate April 1 as politicians and officials begin arriving in London.

A movement called "Storm the Banks" is circulating on the Internet indicating that anti-capitalist protesters are planning to focus their attention on the Bank of England during what some protesters have dubbed "Financial Fools Day."

Maybe Eddie will lead the charge for Harringay with his branch of the Latter Day Anarchists. Glyn ... beware!

And who knows, Adam maybe organising for the Ladder Dads to storm the pubs. :)
Poor old traders. They have been making a fortune over all this turmoil and now I hear that because they're not being paid bonuses (in an investment bank a trader would get 12-13% of what they make) and that they can't be fired (Gordon does not want redundancies in the public service) they're coming in to work at 9, playing golf on their fantastically powerful computers and going home at 4:30. They'd probably appreciate a bit of argey bargey at work to make the day go by faster.
Now that would be fun if the traders came out to protest about their lack of bonuses outside the Bank of England with the anarchists, who in turn are there protesting about the chaotic capitalist system the traders are a part of.

Could get very confusing, lending itself to a Monty Python sketch. They could all get together afterwards in McDs to plan the final scene.
