Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This Saturday, Ally Pally are throwing open the gates for London’s largest celebration of summer. Taking place within the Palace and the 196 acre Alexandra Park, there will be a day of activities and events.

This is your chance to see our historic building and grounds as you’ve never seen them before.

Entry to the festival is free with some activities requiring tickets.

History Tours

The Palace itself will be opening its unseen areas to the public for History Tours. Visitors will be invited to view the hidden parts of our historic building such as the Victorian Theatre, the Great Hall and the West Hall murals illustrating the Palace’s history. This will be one of the last opportunities to see some of these areas before the regeneration works begin, so don’t miss out.

Ice Rink Gala

The iconic ice rink is 25 years old and to celebrate there is a special gala event showcasing the art of ice skating with a special performance from three times British champion, John Hamer.

Prom at the Palace

Over 140 years old, the famous Grand Willis Organ will be taking centre stage at a Prom in the Palace performance in the Great Hall. There will be a programme of light summer music together with some last night of the proms favourites, performed by the acclaimed international concert musician Richard Hills.

Tea on the Terrace

Tables will be set up along the terrace at the front of the Palace for a classic tea party with bunting, cakes, snacks and of course plenty of cups of tea.

Street Food & Craft Beer Festival

The Street Food & Craft Beer Festival will be running, offering a range well-known and local street food plus beer and cider.

Live Music

In addition to the organ concert, there will be two stages of live music in the park. The Grove Stage will be dedicated to folk and Americana music, courtesy of Before the Goldrush, a fortnightly folk night in the capital.

Other activities include pitch & putt, an outdoor cinema, silent disco, fun fairs and more.

Tickets are still available for some of the paid events via hgyol.in/1Mk3oOT
