Hope those that were in the thick of it enjoyed the spectacle - maybe you have some better shots?
Much better music (from what we could hear a mile away!) than the god awful radio station DJ of past years.
Does all go rather quickly though doesn't it.

Sure, it would have been even better if magnified but your photos still give a nice sense of the shape of the displays whilst retaining nice definition of the light plumes.

Zipping off on a tangent you might be interested in this guy's exhibiton at the Photographer's Gallery. Pin sharp landscape scenes that remind me in some ways of the painter Lowry in the little human & animal figures that are none the less really quite detailed. Happened upon the exhibition yesterday afternoon.
