Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have some tickets for the evening celebration at Alexandra Palace Wednesday 25 July (doors 4pm, starts 5pm). Can anyone use them?

I can't manage because I've got a ticket for the Olympic Ceremony dress rehearsal on the same night, and I know which I'd rather go to!

(BTW is anyone else local performing in any of the Olympic ceremonies)?

In case you're missing something, here's a help page on how to use HoLMail.

I hope all enjoyed this event, but I never got to the outside stage.

Why?  Because as well as stopping cars going through Ally Park, they also stopped the W3 bus, with no notices at stops explaining the diversion.  So the Countdown at Priory Rd junction showed the bus coming to 1 minute away, then it evaporated!

ZAPPED OUT!  BORISSED!

Buses could have been allowed by simply moving the cones, and bus drivers instructed not to go at more than 15mph.  Then people like me who honourably left the car at home, but cannot walk too far, could have got in to see some of the action.

Sorry LBH and TfL, a big boob there.  Buses must operate!  Saame goes for the Olympic Lanes - must allow buses too.  London is not Atlanta.

On the other hand I went to the Olympic Park, and watched the final dress rehearsal for tomorrow's opening ceremony. I have to say it was awesome. We have to save the surprise, but for me there were 3 stand-out spectacle moments and a stunning transformation that takes place....

Shhhhhhh! :)
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you Steve for the ticket. It was a really nice event. The torch bearers must have enjoyed the attention they got, as they were mobbed by people wanting to have there picture taken with it.
