Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Welcome some ideas / suggestions on the possibility of running some Adult ‘learn to swim’ and ‘improver’ lessons at our warm teaching pool on Mattison Road.

Ideally for those working from home or retired. This would be a new venture for our established swim school which specialises in teaching children to swim.

Does anyone have any ideas on where I could drum up interest - or spread the word.

Provisionally setting these up on  Friday afternoons around lunch time.  Could be a lovely session as our teaching pool is self contained and lots of coffee shops and cafes around for that all important ‘post swim hot drink’.

Thanking you in advance for any advice.

You may find people via Silverfit (for older people), there are sessions at Lordship Hub on Tuesday mornings, and Palmers Green on Fridays, see silverfit.org.uk

Also 'Coffee & Computers' run popular sessions (mainly older people attend) at various venues, they are on Facebook and you could go and leave some flyers.

I’m interested, my swimming is not good. I’m  retired and 2 o’clock on Friday it’s good for me!

Hi Karen

I am interested. You taught both my children to swim so it would be good to catch them. I think it would be worth posting about it on Crouch End and Stroud Green FB pages and Nextdoor Stroud Green

i will DM you

Have you thought of alerting GP surgeries - they could recommend the sessions and warm water sounds lovely! I'd certainly be interested in improving my elderly breast stroke.
