A small excavation job

During the August heavy rainstorm our cellar flooded ( not too badly). We used our submersible water pump to pump it out. However, submersible water pumps work best when placed in a hole in the cellar floor. We are looking for someone to excavate that hole and line it. We have a neighbour who is interested in having the same thing done.

Does anyone have any ideas as to who might be interested in doing the job?  We have already tried Patrick but he says that it is outside his area of expertise.
