A polite message to anyone walking their dogs on Parkland Walk
The path is VERY high in relation to back gardens of houses on both sides of Parkland Walk and most people walking dogs here are very responsible dog owners and keep their dogs close to them on the path but occasionally I will hear a dog running down at full speed from the path right down and right behind back fences of houses on the bottom of each side of the path - chasing cats and/or foxes. Unfortunately this seems to be happening more often recently.
Dog owners either not calling their dogs back or calling and dogs ignoring them.
I know there was quite a few instances in Ally Pally of cats being killed by dogs. I have both dog and cats, there is a lot of cats and foxes in the area of Parkland Walk.
If you walk your dog on Parkland Walk, please be mindful and do not allow your dog to chase cats/foxes. The walk path is so high up (back of Florence Rd at least) and wide enough that really dogs can be kept on the path and stopped from running all the way down...and potentially killing a cat or a fox.
Please kindly share with your friends if they walk their dogs here.
Many thanks for reading.

The Only answer is its a Foot Path . So all Dogs should be kept on a Lead
Reminds me years ago when a Park Keeper at Finsbury Park. Lady walking her dog was Flashed by a man.
Suggested next time shouted Sausages to Her Dog. She was more worried that Her dog might get into Trouble for biting the Offender. Aware that others flashed while walking with their Dogs, did have cases of Dogs biting Offenders
