Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
A New Bar for Harringay
Passing by 5 Grand Parade today (the grey shopfront between Afters and Parade Chemists), i poked my head in to get an update on the opening date and the nature of the business.
I was told that it will be open in a few weeks. In the morning it will serve breakfast, it will then be a cafe and turn into a bar in the evenings.

Well I don't believe it. I live at no 5c Grand Parade Harringay from 1940 till I moved to Australia in November 1964. The Shop used to be called " Tonges " until it became " Tescos " so now it's a Cafe and a Bar in the evening ha!ha! I wonder if there are any people who used to live there when I did, still live there ?????? Devlins I can remember!!!!!!!! Thanks. ( Retired ). Eddie
