Though I've walked by it once before, today I went into Paula's Deli and found an oasis on Lordship Lane! Well-made hot drinks (no mean feat), beautiful baked goods, organic products, handmade and well-priced sandwiches, lots of chutneys, spices, wines.... Don't let this gem go unpolished! Visit it asap!

Yes, Paula's is a great find [corner of Salisbury/lordship]. Wonderful breads and home made cakes, interesting wines and local beers, charcuterie, all sorts of stuff. Well worth a visit if you're anywhere near
It's at 625 Lordship Lane. Trip Advisor has some rave reviews and photos. Including the same review as M, Bois has posted here. (I assume all these positive reviews are completely independent from the deli. )
It would be interesting to know, do they attract a large number if customers from the nearby Crown Court? The former Marmalade Café at the eastern end of Lordship Lane used to have many customers from the Magistrate's Court there - until cases were moved to Highbury. And from Haringey Planning Department and Customer Services at 639 High Road. Until that was sold off to become what appears to be a GLA white elephant.
