Coincidentally, I just heard on the radio that a young boy in Whitstable who had put up flyers about his lost pet had been threatened by a council jobsworth who had tracked him down from his contact details.

After the boy went to the media, a council official apologised saying that obviously one of its staff had been " a little over-zealous"

So sanity does survive, in isolated pockets.
