I've just received my first ever newsletter in the letterbox (issue no.4)from the Green Lanes Strategy Group (GLSG). Very glossy it is too.
I now know who sits on this group and which organisations are represented. There are 3 different community groups representing various areas of the Gardens and N15. Just one for the ladder, the Ladder Community Safety Partnership (LCSP). Such a mouthful that name!
The newsletter talks about flytipping, Falkland & Fairfax open space, street sweeping and that wondeful railway bridge across Green Lanes.
So there we are, communication with the residents .... just before the local elections.

I was simillary surprised. But I think pleasantly so. I think, rather than being election-related, it shows that they know we now have them on our radar and they realise they need to communicate with us. Next step is to get trus community representation on the group.
It's a good sign.
