Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This from the Met:

We are pleased to invite you to participate in a process to help us set policing priorities for the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) and Metropolitan Police Service (MPS). This consultation will help us develop the annual policing plan for 2009-10 and the Policing London Strategy 2008-11.

The consultation process has evolved over time because of what people have told us. For example, on our website www.met.police.uk/dcf/consulting_london.htm ) you can see what people have told us in previous consultation exercises and what we have done or are planning to do in response to the priorities people have identified.

This year’s public consultation will take place between the 3rd and the 29th of March 2008. It will ask you to select three issues that you feel should have the highest priority for the MPS, and to outline what you feel the Police should be doing to tackle these issues.

This consultation is open to all those who live, work or study in London. You do not need to have a special interest in policing issues; we would simply like your views as a citizen or representative of a particular organisation or group. We are keen for people from all walks of life to participate – so if you feel others might wish to submit comments, please feel free to copy and distribute this letter to your contacts/members/partner organisations.

The consultation will be conducted by way of a questionnaire, which can be completed online by visiting secure.met.police.uk/consultation/index.php. Alternatively. if you require a paper copy, or would like the questionnaire to be provided in an alternative format please contact Jodie Allen on 0207-230-1933 or by email at Jodie Allen.
