Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Visited Transport for London website this morning to try and find out about a diversion on the W5 which has made my son late for school two mornings in a row - no information. So I rang the telephone number of the helpline given and went through the automated answer system for a few minutes, only to receive a recorded message telling me to check the website - then the line went dead!

(Actually I find the TfL website almost worse than useless, unless you already know exactly where you're going and how you plan to get there. The other day I wanted to check which bus number it was that ran from Newington Green to Kings Cross, but the website would only give me the option of tube, or three buses via central London, taking over an hour, whereas in fact the 73 and the 463 both do that route direct. Crazy!)

You should drive him to school. Much more reliable :)
Let them take taxis!
I did today - he's got a maths exam.
The problem is probably water board works on Harringey Park ( sic ) and Crouch Hill. Harringey Park is closed at the Library.
And it looks as if the works are finished and the W5 is back on track.
