Japanese Knotweed at 78 Wightman Road

We’ve recently noticed what very much long like Japanese Knotweed growing on the land adjacent to 78 Wightman Road (the top of Duckett Road). The wall it is on already looked unstable, and we’re concerned what will happen and how fast it has grown.

I’ve looked at Haringey council’s website, but the advice is not very helpful - can anyone else give advice on how they have handled similar situations with unknown neighbours?

Try the tag now it's been amended. You'll find links to a dozen related posts. There's one from 2013, also about a property on Wightman, which has some links which still seem to work.
