Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

If you are interested in starting a community food-growing project in London and have access to a space, the Capital Growth network is offering small grants of up to £750 to help start or develop a community food-growing space.

You can apply for support if you are starting a new food-growing project or if you run an existing growing space that started after January 2009. If your project started before this date you are only eligible to apply if you are expanding the growing space in some way.

Your project must involve at least five people, be at least five square metres in size and you must have permission from the landowner. Further information is provided in the application form itself.

Your project must take place in one of the 33 Greater London boroughs.

Grants application deadline: Monday, 7th November 2011 at 5pm.
