Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I don't know how many others have had a letter from the council, but another certificate of lawfulness is being sought for 69 Effingham Road. This follows an application in the summer that was refused on the basis that the supporting documentation substantiating prior use as two flats was inadequate. It appears as though the applicant now claims to have provided substantiating documentation, but this documentation is not attached to the online application.

Many will remember concern about this property from the summer. By way of reminder, the VOA lists it as having been rated as a single property since 1993.

Apparently you can view the 'documents or evidence' at the planning office at request, they don't want to provide this online?
Birdy, that is correct, as it may contain personal information. It can be viewed at the planning office on request though. In this case that might be what's needed, as they need to sumbit sufficient evidence to get the CoL granted. There has been a number of cases where the evidence has been falsified - this sounds like another one trying it on. Bushy and Vix have looked into a few of these.
M, do you have the time to go and have a look at the supporting documents for this? They are available under the Freedom of information act.
Under normal circumstances I'd go to have a look at the supporting documents but, given work appointments, fear I won't be able to get there before the 21-day deadline is up (the notification from the Council is dated Nov. 23). Having raised the issue I hate to pass the buck, but is there anyone else who might be able to inspect?
I can't unfortunately, but I know VIX and Bushy have been up there, maybe ask them very nicely..? Or Alan Stanton? Sorry guys, don't mean to dump you in it, but it is hard to do this when not around much.. :(

Vix and I have requested that the planning file is made available for us to read tomorrow morning (9 December). We hope this arrangement will be confirmed later today. We'll post a brief summary reportback as quickly as possible.

However, as Hol is a publicly available website, if the stuff we read contains people's confidential details we will of course respect that.

Let's hope the owner has submitted yet more fake documents, then the council can take legal action!
