Think it was for the funeral of mark duggan which was in tottenham yesterday... Large police presence in the area to keep things peaceful. http://www.stroudgreen.org/discussion/3133/latest-police-update-fyi/

After all that was said about the riots, the looting and the policing thereof; and after all the fears that were expressed about Duggan's funeral being the trigger for a repetition, I think we should recognise the restraint shown by both the Tottenham Community and the Police and express our thanks to both that all passed off without incident.

The Media of course have been silent, but then you can't sensationalise a lack of looting or a reluctance to riot.
