Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

24 Hour service on Piccadilly & Victoria Lines at Weekends planned.

TfL is planning to run 24 hour services at the weekend on certain underground lines.

This is a welcome move and at last brings London into line with other European Capitals that already run 24h rail services. No starting date in the announcement tho'.

This will also certainly mean a cutback on parallel night bus routes at the weekends too.

Maybe, but the idea that a night service on the Underground is going intice new tourists is simply hogwash or as you say 'a 'no brain(er)'. Doesn't say much for the daytime tourist sites either.

What might push up the tourist numbers would be decent hotels at a decent rate. (I mean hotels with a good sanitation - showers that work and a reasonable breakfast)

London I'm afraid has the reputation amongst us foreigners as being a bit of 'a rip off', certainly not value for money.
