Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Go Green with Friends of St Ann’s Green Spaces (StAGS) at the Peace and Wellness Festival this Saturday 25 September 2021

Meet at the Mulberry Tree.
“St Ann’s Hospital in Tottenham N15 3TH is home to some of the rarest trees in Britain, many of which have remarkable fruits...”

This is the opening of Trees of St Ann’s Hospital, the 2011 tree booklet put together by Russell Miller working in collaboration with David Bevan (then Haringey Council Conservation Officer) and the Hospital Tree Team - led and illustrated by service users of St Ann’s and the local community. stAGS invite you to celebrate its 10th birthday as we work towards creating an updated version of the guide in a similar collaborative project across the site.

There’s a bigger Birthday to celebrate too. Many of St Ann’s trees were planted over 100 years ago – yet it’s the local community today who experience the benefits the bring.  As the impact of climate change becomes clearer, stAGS continue to urge long term, collaborative conservation management of St Ann’s green spaces both for the benefit of Tottenham – and the future of the planet.
