Brian Mahoney, first, please accept that I am not trying to score points. When I read your comment maybe an hour ago I realised that, Just Like You, I hadn't actually read a Green Party statement about the Gaza Genocide. So I went to the Green Party website and typed the word GENOCIDE into a search box. Plainly neither of us had done this before.

Accepting that we are both adults discussing what has been called the "crime of crimes", I hope that we can both also accept that the lawyers who drew up the international definition of genocide had valid reasons for their choice of words.
As of midday today 4 November 2025 I do not know enough about the killing of Christians in Nigeria to be confidently accurate about what's happening there. But I would not make and publicly post a statement saying about anyone that: "I doubt they are at all interested in the genocide of Christians in Nigeria." Perhaps not even if I had solid evidence that statement was factual.
Let's agree that from what we know any killings in Nigeria are shocking.

Taking my cue from Brian Mahoney, today I've spent a bit more time on the Green Party website and seen that it contains perfectly clear policy statements about Israel, Palestine, Gaza, Genocide and Israeli Apartheid, (wall'n'all). So I really can't see why anyone can be, or would have been in any doubt.
And while we're discussing Israel, genocide and elections. can I please strongly recommend the latest online video by Peter Beinart, a Professor, and a religious Jew who persuasively urges fellow New Yorkers to vote for Zohran Mamdani for Mayor.
