Event Description
Vimala and Dorian re-invent the performance of the jazz standard by simply doing just that; performing the jazz standard with love, joy, feeling, and freedom. Where innovation is informed by tradition; while innovation informs that tradition. Jazz is simultaneously a heritage music and the sound of right now. A conscious and spontaneous synthesis of classical techniques and folk groundings.
Our particular focus is currently:
“Everything Ella”
Fresh, joyful, direct and heartfelt interpretations of the Ella Fitzgerald songbook.
