Crouch End Festival Chorus (www.cefc.org.uk) returns to St Michael’s Church, Highgate to mark the countdown to Christmas with a concert full of seasonal cheer.
The programme embraces the Christmas spirit with a selection of popular songs and carols (with a chance for the audience to join in) and includes favourites from the newly released The Greatest Christmas Choral Classics album. Also featured is a performance of Benjamin Britten’s captivating A Ceremony of Carols for sopranos, altos and harp. There will be another chance to hear the acclaimed winning entry from last year’s CEFC Carol Competition, Chanticleer by local composer Richard James Harvey.
CEFC is delighted to be supporting LAA at its Christmas concert.
London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to critically injured people in London. They serve the 10 million people who live, work and commute within the M25 at the moment of their greatest need. In 2014 London’s Air Ambulance treated 66 patients in Haringey, which is equivalent to an average of one every five days.
