Sheon Toms Trio

Sheon Toms is a 21 year old guitarist and composer currently studying jazz at Trinity Laban. Introduced to jazz through the prestigious talent development organisation Tomorrow's Warriors, Sheon has honed his skills under the tutelage of Denys Baptiste, Sultan Stevenson and Binker Golding. Alongside him will be the powerhouse rhythm section of Joe Steyn on the drums and Zaki Osahn on bass. As sidemen they have performed at an array of festivals and venues including Dizzy's Club NYC, The Vortex and Love Supreme Festival. The band will be debuting a set of original music drawing from the sounds of George Benson, Branford Marsalis Quartet and Lage Lund.
