Remembrance Sunday at St Paul's Harringay:
Act of Remembrance in the churchyard at 10:30am. The church bell will toll and we will observe a two minute silence to remember those who gave their lives for this country. All welcome.
Church services will be at 8.30am and 10:32am. At the latter I'll be telling the story of Lance Sergeant Thomas Archer, a post office clerk who lived at 10 Duckett Road and later at 91 Upper Tollington Park. He was killed at the Battle of the Transloy Ridges in the Somme in 1916. He is, in my opinion, a great role model and hero for us to look up to in a world of vapid celebrity.
