The climate and nature crisis is a multi-pronged emergency, impacting all aspects of British life: from national security to extreme weather and infrastructure stress to the
food supply, health and the economy.
In November 2025, ten of the UK’s leading experts in climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature, presented a briefing on this ensuing crisis at Westminster, to an invited audience of over 1,200 politicians and leaders, from business, culture, faith, sport and the media.
Taking highlights from this briefing, the People’s Emergency Briefing is a new film with appearances from Chris Packham, Jennifer Saunders, Deborah Meaden, and a range of
expert voices from across the UK; presenting the facts, the implications … and the solutions.
It presents a calm, evidence-based overview of how the climate and nature crisis is affecting everyday life in Britain - and what the science says about risks and responses. And is designed to galvanise, mobilise and inform communities and local councils.
Following the 45-minute film will be a structured discussion about what this means for our community.
This is the same film as was shown by the Muswell Hill Sustainability Group not long ago - also shown in over 1300 communities across the UK.
