I Hate Valentine’s Day Pot Painting

Why? Because Valentine’s day sucks!! If you’re in a relationship you feel like you have to spend loads of money and do something. And if you’re single you feel bad for not being in a relationship. You just can’t win…

So let’s ditch all those ideas and just have 2.5 hours of chatting, painting and BYOB! You can come with your partner, or a friend or by yourself. It’s a super relaxed and fun evening for you to learn a new skill and meet some people.

What will I learn?

In this relaxed and fun class I will be showing you how to make your own pot to take home.

• You’ll get a 12.5cm sized concrete pot to paint

• Working out which colours compliment each other

• How to prepare your pot

• How to use tapes to create designs and make sections of colour

• Using paints to create patterns to bring the design together

• How to apply paints and brush techniques

• Which paints are best for the job

Where?

This workshop will be taking place in my studio in N4 in the Gardens! 5 mins walk from Haringey Green Lanes Overground station, 15 min walk from Manor House Underground Station. Workshop address will be sent upon booking.

When?

Tuesday 14th February.

What time?

6-8.30pm.

How much?

£35 for a 2.5 hour session. All materials are included, including the plant pot which you get to take home with you.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself. I will provide everything you need for the workshop. All you need to bring is some imagination, an open mind and some creativity!

Snacks and drinks will be provided. Bring your own booze is very welcome!

So come along, learn a new skill and transform all your plant pots into works of art! You’ll be addicted once you’ve learnt how! You’ll be able to take your pot home and show all your friends!
