Haringey Climate Partnership: Thursday , 26 February 2026 - 6.30pm - 8.30pm - 1st Floor, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green N22 7TR

Come along and hear from the council and the community on climate related work taking place in the borough, plus opportunities to meet each other and get involved.

The theme for this meeting is engagement:

• We will be joined by colleagues from University College London who are running a workshop on heat perception and are interested in our individual experiences of extreme heat. This will contribute to a PhD research project. More information about the workshop will be shared soon.
• Our Climate Action Team will be asking how we use our Annual Carbon Report in wider climate engagement, and which sections of the report are most useful to you. The team are trying a new, shorter and more accessible version of the Report this year and your feedback is most welcome!
• This meeting will also be an opportunity to meet our new Cabinet Member for Climate & Environment Cllr Ibrahim Ali.
• As always, we have a slot for everyone to share any events or updates from within their communities

The Climate Partnership grows out of Haringey's commitment to becoming a net zero carbon borough by 2041. Achieving this ambitious goal will require action across all parts of the council and the community. That's why we're creating a dedicated forum for residents, community groups, businesses and other local organisations to learn about the council's Climate Change Action Plan, share their own ideas and projects and work with us to develop joint solutions.
