Take a break from the world this coming bank holiday weekend. I’m opening my garden in aid of charities supported by the National Garden Scheme and Sunnyside Community Garden on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th, 2-6pm.
Come and relax in the garden and scoff home-made cakes and teas or- if you fancy- wash them down with a refreshing glass of home-brewed ginger beer. The weather is set fair but, if it does rain, there is a pop-up café indoors overlooking the garden.
There is also a plant sales stall with a good range of unusual garden and house plants for sale. Lots of ferns and shade loving perennials that I've grown up from specimens in the garden and as well as a fabulous range of succulents grown by a colleague at Sunnyside.
