Jose Baladron (Traid, second-hand clothing charity retailer)
The fast fashion industry is the second biggest consumer of water and is responsible for about 10% of global carbon emissions - more than all international flights and shipping combined (source: UN Environment Programme); with 85% of all textile then ending up in landfill.
