Half way trough winter, La Nopalera is travelling trough dreamworld, the cacti in its physical dormant state is weaving with the deepest of the creative to wake up soon and share another magical interaction between wood, strings, the garden, yourselves and candlelight.

Guitarist Arturo Castro Nogueras, draws on a rich cultural background that spans his diverse heritage between Cuban, Puerto Rican and Mexican cultures. Born in Mexico to a family of musicians and raised in the mountains of Puerto Rico, surrounded by tropical rainforests, he strives to portray music as part of a wider social and discursive field, as well as a tool for intercultural and environmental dialogue, and the growing understanding of music in a post-colonial atmosphere. He has performed solo and chamber music all over the Americas, Europe and Africa featuring primarily music from his three cultures.
