Adult Weaving Class

This introductory course is the perfect opportunity to get into weaving. Tutored by experienced textile artist Zsofia Hajdu, you will mix and match different yarns to create beautiful shapes and textures, learn how to design and weave patterns, and add an extra finishing to your piece.

By the end of the six weeks, you will know how to set up your weaving frame or weave onto household objects, chairs, and even on your garden trees, so the fun doesn’t have to end with the course.

This course is part of Lauderdale House's new series of short introductory art courses for adults. These six-week courses are designed for you to learn the basics of a new skill or art form, to give something new a try without having to commit to a longer course or buying materials. Come by after work to enjoy a glass of wine, chat with your coursemates and learn something new!

The course runs from 12th September to 17th October and the class happens every Monday at 7pm.
