BFI film archive now searchable by postcode & map

The BFI have produced an interactive film map that allows you to search by postcode & see what films they have in the archive.

The location of the flags on the map is not precise, and some films include multiple locations.

If you search N4 & click on the flag near the bottom of the ladder you find six films, five of them by the Davies family of Stanhope Gardens, filmed from 1963-1966. These include parades on Green Lanes, views of their back garden, Finsbury park, beach trips, funerals etc.
