Stunning pictures Eugene. I especially like the black and white shot.

Thanks Michael, the sky was great for a couple of minutes, and I thought it looked better in B&W too.

They would make a great aquarium / diving centre. Just need a lot of reinforced glass and a lot of water and few fish.
Well, as we have a rock climbing centre in Stokey, one of flattest parts of London, that's not such an outlandish idea!
There's two of them, job done. The next generation can live in Grimsby whilst we swim and climb. Sorted.

Another image here - taken at night and from the top of the structure.

Cool. How did you manage to get access to get up there?

That's not you up there Gordon, is it?

There's an update here http://www.pmra.co.uk/2016/02/09/a-good-bye-tour-to-the-hornsey-gas...

Clement has set up a Flickr Group 'Hornsey Gasholders'  with more pics here: https://www.flickr.com/groups/hornseygasholders/pool/

Don't know if you're on Flickr Gordon but if you are be nice if you'd add that one.

Ah well, I was teleported there by 'The Guardian', you might say - look at the URL at the top of the page the photo displays in. It's part of a series of night-time high views of London - there are more here.

Can someone help me? I'm desperate to know what we're going to hold our gas in now and for the future.

Just clench your buttocks and hope OAE
